Ability to Place Geometry Points that use Parametric Cells

I would like Geometry Points to support using parametric cells.

Driveway Profile Sheet Creation Tool

For our DOT, we need to show profiles for driveways. Since they are not large, it is expected to have 4 or more to a single sheet. In the current workflow, creating the drawing models and moving the drawing models to sheets to make this work is ti...

Collision-Free cross section annotation

There appears to be a feature in OpenRail and previously was in InRoads where you could specify in the Annotation Group to have the annotation shift if there was an overlap with another annotation but can't find the same feature in OpenRoads Des...

Split Cross Sections if Elements in Model Extend Outside of Default Width.

Currently our DOT requires that if ROW lines (or any element in the corridor) are outside the width of the default XS width, the user needs to create an extension or split the XS's to be able to show all design elements and ROW labels. Currently t...

Superelevation Frame Annotation can annotate the 0% cross slope location

As part of the profile superelevation annotation, the annotation currently cannot annotate the location where the superelevation is 0%. This would be helpful to show in plans and for designers to easily see the station this point is at.

Annotate Cross Section Locations In Plan

We often want to show the location of cross section in plan which can be done using the named Boundary Lines but they need to be annotated so you know what each represents e.g. stations/chainages or section names such as letters etc. There is a wo...

Add option to save result as a "Report" when performing a Terrain to Terrain (or pane) Volume analysis.

Currently when performing a Terrain to Terrain (or pane) Volume Analysis, the only option for saving the result is to save it as a text string and place in a .dgn. It would be very helpful if there was an option so save this result as a report (id...

Display transparent catchment boundary at the cursor when relocating an inlet.

Enable the user when relocating a catch basin to view the catchment boundary as the inlet location is adjusted. Thus, acting as a dynamic and transparent view of the catchment boundary for the inlet at the new location. This will simplify the work...

Make the Point Analyze Tool usable in Read-Only files

You can't use the Analyze Point tool on read-only files presumably because it is trying to add annotation but sometimes people just want to check measurements such as slope between geometry in a read-only files and this is a very useful tool to do...

Invert Terrain Elevation

ASCII elevation data from hydrosurveys is delivered in positive depths making for an embankment instead of a channel. A function to multiply elevations by -1 would save a trip through Excel or a GIS program.
