A tool that would allow the user to input, either manually or via CSV (or other import method), an array of points that can be used to create horizontal geometry or drawing strings, and be able to edit said points.
This would operate almost the same as using the element manipulators or properties, but the key would be allowing the ability to import the point data.
Since each string is just a line between two points, I believe the ability to place and edit those points more directly in an editor rather than the properties of each individual string would be beneficial, and would save time when all that is available is point data.
I recently encountered a perfect use for this when a contractor provided 200+ points for a retaining wall control string and while we found a work around eventually, I can see the use of being able to edit
