The place label tool already has this functionality but once you place the label it's fixed and can't be adjusted. Please add the cell functionality to the place note tool to create labels for signs. Would be extremely useful. Also the place label tool is redundant when you have place note and civil labeler and it's broken since you can't adjust the labels once you place it. Same functionality could be added to civil labeler but I think it would work better for place note.

Yes! My DOT has a cell for centerline (and a few other symbols of the sort with two overlapping characters). As it is, I have to try to leave enough space in my note to fit the cell, try to line up the cell, and remember to Group the note and the cell so that when I move my note I don't forget the cell (but Grouping has its own drawbacks).
