When placing conduits or Inlets from a catalog, there is no way to display a different Feature Symbology or Element Template depending upon the item used within the catalog. For Conduits, on our 2D plans, we show a different linestyle for each size of pipe. In InRoads, we would enable centerline display using these different linestyles. This linestyle is a wide dashed line with solid edge lines. We cannot replicate that in the current software. This was easy in InRoads.
For Catalog Inlets, we have curb opening inlets with 5, 10, 15 20 and 25 ' openings. The current software only places one 2D and 3D cell per catalog inlet type. Without the ability to accurately reflect these different cells for each catalog inlet size, we cannot get accurate collision detection or an indication if a curb opening impacts a curb return, sidewalk ramp or driveway.

James,
I cannot access the new links to these ideas. logged it with AHA. They ask me to log in again and then the login fails with a message "User account does not exist in Tenant BSI..."
Also, these do not show up as My Ideas. This may be related to why I cannot access the links.
