    This would be a great addition; however, it is unlikely to happen. The OpenRoads civil SDK is effectively gated behind the paid Bentley Developer Network, and exposing the same functionality through Python would bypass that model and remove a clear revenue stream.

    Unless Bentley were to also gate Python-based civil API access behind BDN, this would undermine how SDK access is currently monetised, indicating that the barrier is commercial rather than technical.

    I believe this idea involves the development of ORD Python APIs based on the ORD SDK, which will expand MicroStation's Python scripting capabilities and should be incorporated into the MicroStation Python AI Assistant. This functionality is much needed.
