A particular state DOT utilizes an integral abutment detail where the end diaphragm over the abutment is cast as part of the deck slab pour to encapsulate the ends of the steel girders or PPC I-beams (eliminating abutment joints). This end pour over the abutments is full depth from top of roadway to bridge seat and is paid for as part of the deck/superstructure concrete.

Presently it OBM does not appear to have a way to model this end diaphragm.

OBM could use additional functionality to address this detail.
